Recent Best Western Aku Tiki Review: "We searched so many online sites for a place to stay in Daytona for our family's Spring Break, which is a scary thing to do. We were referred to the BW Auku Tiki Inn by a friend. When we arrived we were SOOO pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful, on-site restaurant was GREAT for breakfast and dinners. Very nice,  convenient work-out room. We had a parking lot side room, but still had a great view of the ocean. Not to mention the 5:30 free drink! happy hour, just unheard of these days, but was so nice. Our 3 kids loved the pool area (very clean and well maintained). Plenty of chairs / tables there to enjoy, but still had a very nice grass area w/ tables/chairs overlooking the beach. Its on a wonderful section of Daytona - you can drive right out onto the beach and have everything accessible. There's a 7-11 and a Winn Dixie directly (walking distance) across the street. There's also a couple small Beach Shops there too. Its about 1 mile away from the "busy" area of Daytona Beach where there's lots of people and a crowded beach from what I hear. I would highly recommend this hotel and we are looking forward to another trip there."
