| For the New Years Eve celebration, I stayed at the Saxony Motel because it is VERY conveniently located next to the Daytona Beach Pier. That is pretty much the only good thing about this motel. Without the help of the champagne, my night's sleep would have been even worse! The bed is lumpy, the pillows are flat, and the walls were covered in dead bug residue. Patron beware, this motel is not for the 'upper crust'. This is a rundown, party hotel that has one thing going for it: Location. I will admit it was nice being able to have dinner, have lots of drinks, enjoy the amazing fireworks on the beach and then walk to the hotel. |

| The hotel the first night was fine we were actually pleased. We didn't pay much for ocean front so we didn't expect much. Of course the hotel looked a little run down and the pool was closed for repair but that was ok with us. The room was clean and big and the staff was nice. But on the second night of the stay we discovered the room had termites...there were wings every where and we even found some in our beds that night. But as long as they take care of the termites the room in general was fine. Not sure if i would stay again cause of the termites. |

| the overall room was not bad, but, the shower had not presure. it was like taking a shower in a light rain. there was no room service on a daily basis. very few places to eat nearby unless all you wanted was pizza. i did not like the fact they charge a fee to park, just add it to the price of the room and do not suprise me once i get there.
i work construction statewide and pretty much live in hotels most weeks, this was not the best but it was not the worst. for the price if you want to be right near the boardwalk it is not a bad price. |

| Large room, limited parking, however mgt did look out for us and we had parking each night with little trouble. |

| not you 5 star place, but for a spring beak hotel or nice little beach weekend it does the job. Rooms are very spacious, and the location was in walking distance of everything you would want to do. and the view of the beach was perfect. Only beef was that the AC in my room would not stay cold & batteries in tv remot died (no big deal) besides that it was good. Oh yeah 7-11 is right across the street :). I got a thing for slurpies LOL |

| The rooms are ok. The shower has very little water pressure on upper floors. There are no sinks in the bathrooms. So you have to wash your hands in the sink by the sitting area in the hotel room. You only get daily full cleaning service if you go to the front office and ask for it. But they do give you clean towels everyday. You also have to pay for parking at the hotel. |

| Cheap hotel but towels were paper thin and small. Had to request clean ones for day 2. Hotel had an odor of mildew. Shower was hot with good pressure and the rate was cheap but I was a bit disappointed at the overall quality. |

| This hotel was just what I expected an clean, safe room I could crash in for the night. The bed was reasonable comfortable, and the view of the ocean was great. |
